Teaser Tuesday – August 8, 2017

Welcome to Teaser Tuesday, the weekly Meme that is hosted by The Purple Booker It is very easy to play along:

• Grab your current read
• Open to a random page
• Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
• BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
• Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

Here are my teaser sentences:

When the memories are as complete as I can manage, I bury them until they are quiet enough inside my head to allow me to think, to feel, to try to make sense of it all. One memory refuses to comply, fighting its way to the surface, but I don’t want to believe it.

Sometimes I Lie by Alice Feeney

Published March 23rd 2017 by HQ

Goodreads description:

My name is Amber Reynolds. There are three things you should know about me:

1. I’m in a coma.
2. My husband doesn’t love me anymore.
3. Sometimes I lie.

I haven’t gotten very far into the book yet, but so far it’s very interesting!  I am really looking forward to reading more. If you’ve read SOMETIMES I LIE already, please let me know what you thought of it. And if you haven’t read it yet, do you think you will?

  1. Hey Dee,

So eager for your review of this one babe. Whilst I would not have bought it at full price I did grab a discounted copy the other day.. The blurb left me in two minds as to whether I would enjoy, and I love your reviews as they always give me a good feel..

    Take care sweet xxx
