A quick update…

Image result for update

Some of you may have noticed (and if you haven’t no worries!) that I have been posting a lot less in the last couple of weeks. I just thought I would write a quick little post explaining why.

I have some health issues that normally don’t interfere with my reading or blogging etc. However, in the last month, a few things have come up.

I had minor surgery last week that really shouldn’t have had any lasting effects but unfortunately, I’ve had a spinal headache ever since. It has finally started to ease up but I find if I use the computer too much right now, it does make things worse. Apparently, this can happen and should go away completely in another week or so.Β  IΒ  have quite a few appointments coming up in the next two weeks and so I’ve decided to take a couple of weeks away from my blog, Goodreads, Twitter, Instagram etc. to give my head (and eyes) a really good break.

I’m reading some really awesome books right now and I’m looking forward to finishing them and posting reviews that I hope you’ll enjoy. I am also looking forward to coming back and catching up on all of your wonderful posts!

Happy reading!!!!

      • You’re welcome! Take as much time as you need! But if you are back in a few days, it will be great to see you!! ❀ I'm doing ok…the usual pains…you know! It's been a wild past few weeks with some health scares for my dad, but he's doing a lot better now although he's got a long road to recovery. Me too!! Take care!! xoxo ❀

      • You’re welcome! Thank you…me too! He had a heart attack and bypass surgery, but he’s thankfully home now. It was a scary time, and I was on a bit of a break while he was in the hospital and am still just posting sporadically since he’s got another 8 weeks or so of recovery and I’m spending a lot of time with him. He’s all rearing to get up and start running 10 miles a day (he can’t walk more than 15 min without being out of breath), but he HATES sitting still! At least he wants to be active, so that’s something. And thank you…you know how stress just makes you feel so much worse when you have chronic pain. I think once I know 100% that he’s 100% that I’ll start to feel better. Hugs to you too, my friend!! ❀ xoxo

  5. Dee, I came looking for you to see where you were and found this update. I’m so sorry you are having to deal with this! I can empathize, truly. I’m sending you all of the healthy good wishes I can muster and hoping that you will be “right as rain” very soon!! Be strong! ~Mackey
